6 day standstill, isolation unit?
« on: June 14, 2014, 08:09:45 pm »
Hi there guys.. Were wanting to do a few shows this year, mainly with the same sheep, but there are quite a few that clash with the 6 day standstill, id heard that if you have an isolation unit, you can move sheep back to that unit and then move them out to another show within the 6 day standstill, aslong as there kept in the unit..
If this is so, then who do i apply to, to sort an isolation unit? Also what can you use as a unit, will an old stable do? And what do i have to go through to get it approved and how long does it take??

Thanks.

I asked the same question last year.  Finally was sent some paperwork from an Animal Health team in Cornwall who said they would come and inspect the premises (we are in Dorset!).  I will try and find the paperwork and pm you.
