my shearling ewe is standing with her head to floor and not moving.if I make her walk off she does normally but doesn't lift head, no dribbling, drooling , diahoreah etc.is vacc'd.wormd etc.
was eating and normal yesterday.isnt fly struck as already shorn and iv checked her.
spoke to vet who said give her 24 hours or antibiotics or could come out but could be one of man things.

any ideas from knowledgable sheep farmers , she one of only 3 I own and was bottle reared.

Like vet said, could be one of many things. Could definitely be worth putting big dose of penicillin based antibiotic for possible listeria or spinal abscess. Also may be worth getting some vitamin b1 in case of ccn, maybe even magnesium, but doesn't sound like staggers.
Hope she picks up or your vet can give you a diagnosis.

As above; also they can act like that when hiding from biting flies

ditto hiding from flies mine are doing it alot at the moment.
