Hello
« on: October 16, 2009, 03:34:21 pm »
Hi
My name is Shelly. I have been lurking for a little while, since I am not a true Small Holder, but since you seem friendly I thought I would bite the bullet and introduce myself.

We have a pub/inn in Warwickshire with a small paddock of land at the side (more than a quarter but less than half an acre). We have had chickens for about five weeks now. Ten hens (five different breeds) and a cock.  :chook: We are getting approximately 5 to 6 eggs a day. On Sunday two Kune Kune weaners are arriving.  :pig: :pig: which we are really excited about.

I would like to say a big thank you for the advise and tips you all post on here. Although I have not asked a direct question I have found it most useful trawling through the boards for answers.

Hello Shelly

Welcome to the forum!!

Your hens are laying a lot better than mine.  I have 40, and we are down to two eggs a day now!!!
