Hi could anyone tell me if they have Welsummers, salmon faverolle or gold laced Wyandotte's for sale please. It is rather urgent.

We will have some GLW's later in the year (just a week old at present!) Have you thought of going to Ross-on-Wye rare breeds poultry sale (Saturday 7th)?

There's also the poultry sale at Coed Y Dinas garden centre at Welshpool tomorrow, if that's in striking distance. We're going as we're hoping to pick up a few hens ourselves.

Hi, you could try Andrew at Powys Poultry. He used to be based on the Welshpool/Newtown Road but I think he has moved to Llanfair Caereinion now. Sorry, don't have contact number any more but sure you could find it. Really nice fellow. We bought Friesian Fowl from him. He did various pure breeds as well as some hybrids.

Charlies have a poultry sale usually once per month.

BTW I should have mentioned that the Coed Y Dinas sale is a monthly event so if you google it you'll find the dates. They did have a few Welsummers there on Monday but most of their stock was selling fast - sale started at 8.30 and by the time we'd picked up our hens 3/4 hr later it was very busy. The trader is Millwood Poultry; email 'millwoodpoultry@hotmail.com' or mobile number 07449 081325. Might be worth contacting to see what they've got coming up for sale.

Thankyou I might try contacting them. I am currently waiting for an answer from someone who lives up the road, as to whether they have salmon faverolles currently available, I know they sell them.
