True dumb blonde tale and tip
« on: October 13, 2009, 04:57:35 pm »
For the last week or so, I have been having the worst time with my computer. It was slow to load ANY page, and it was always coming back with some sort of error alert. Then if that wasn't enough to make me want to pull my hair out, yesterday I couldn't make the curser move at all, so I couldn't even get my email. >:( So I do what I normally do and shut the whole thing down (for the fifth time) and still nothing. So I changed the batteries in my wireless mouse and that didn't help.  I then remembered that I should push the reset button on the underside of my keyboard at the same time I push a tiny, tiny recessed button on the underside of my mouse. That was to no avail. Then after I put on my reading glasses, I realized I was trying to push in a recessed tiny, tiny screw instead. I took a tissue and wiped my mouse's back side off only to discover that the poor little recessed button was filled over with dust! :o So I cleaned it out and now everything's  working perfectly!!! So if any of you start having a slow time on your computer just clean your mouse's back side and the surface you slide it around on. :-*

::)I have mixed feelings about my glasses, 1, I cannot see all the dirt and dog hairs..not sure if that's good or bad,
2, Unless I put my glasses on my skin looks good, with them on it looks bad >:(
3, Shopping is getting much more complex with all the products I want to buy having so many varients, low fat, reduced sugar, organic, low cholestral or volumising, extra strengh, with polidoodles, nipdropoxy, hydrofoxy etc etc...I am never sure which one I have bought until I put on my glassess........Are we ment to not see things very well when we get older, is it to make us think we still look nice and our surroundings are clean?? ???

Sandy I understand completely.
My glasses are usually covered in dust and dog hairs, so the rest of the world looks no worse!
Even worse, Sheba is a very affectionate dog, so I ofen get smears of dog slobber on them as well !
