hello Snoops,
I have had no luck so far in finding the  makers of the grinder. Really need someone who speaks Japanese (well I think thats what the woman is speaking ? ).
It does look like a very handy bit of machinery , but with lots of bits and bobs to change by the looks of things . This would be ok as long as things are normal , but if life got a bit difficult spares may be hard to come by .
For times as they are now though , it would be ideal for the smallholder who wants to produce his own and his animals feed himself.
For different times if they were to come ?, I would be looking more towards older technology . In general , less to go wrong , less to repair , but what there is, can be repaired by yourself . Thats one reason why I collect information on how to make things myself . If I made it, I can repair it . Older roller mills are still available , but getting harder to find complete and working . Some only roll grain  too (perhaps thats why they were called roller mills ???? mmmm ) , making flour is another machines job  !!!
I will keep looking for info on the one in the video , but there are a lot of companies out there making grain mills. India is usually a good place to look , they still make loads of machinery we gave up on years ago .

cheers

Russ
