You just can't tell with some people...
« on: October 08, 2009, 02:01:50 pm »
So it's my last day at work today, I have hated the whole six months and found my boss really annoying.  Then at lunch time I got called to reception to accept a basket of flowers.  It was from my boss!!!

So unexpected, I feel touched and a little guilty.  :-[ He seems to think I have done a wonderful job and I just feel like I have pottered and not done much.

As I said, you can never tell.

I had an interview and thought I man was keen on giving me the job and the other not so keen...I got the job and it was the opposite away around and the man who looked like he did not want to employ me became a good friend and boss...you never know, some people hide thier feelings!!! Well done, you should get a good referance then!!!

Hey HH, nothing lined up. I'm kinda pleased and kinda scared. Been out of work before, been temping for nearly three years since we got back from NZ. I hate it but no one will give me a perm job. Don't really want a perm job but feel it is expected and the security would be nice for a while.

Got sooo much to do, jams/chutney/garden/veg patch/make cards and jewellery in hopes of selling for Christmas and the list goes on.  Am applying for lots of jobs in Scotland and round here to hedge my bets and hounding the temp agencies.  Be surprised if anything perm comes up before Christmas now.  Planning on getting house valued soon but gotta de-clutter and neaten up first. We might well end up moving without a job if things drag but not right now.

So, really the short answer was, no, nothing yet.  ::) I do go one, sorry.  :-[

Sandy, it's so true, you really can;t tell what goes on in other peoples minds, that's the point I suppose.
 ;D ;D
