Silver Grey Dorking Cockerel
« on: April 30, 2014, 12:50:27 pm »
Hi All
I am looking for a new husband for my Silver Grey Dorking ladies.
I am in North Yorkshire and work in West Yorkshire so ideally somewhere around here. I was hoping that there would be some at the York Rare Breeds sale last week, but not a single Dorking there!
I would happily go back to the breeder I bought the girls from but he does not have any which are unrelated.
If anyone knows of one, please can you let me know?
Many thanks

Victoria Roberts is the Dorking club breed secretary and is based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, you could try her...here's her website

I am getting rather frantic in my search now! Seems that Dorkings are a rare breed for a reason! I have a meeting in Staffordshire next wek and Northampton the week after if anyone knows of anyone with Silver Grey Dorkings in that area? My fella wants us to change to a breed which is more 'readily available' but i love the Dorks  :(
