I don't think OH would eat her, besides we already have a fair bit of lamb in the freezer.
I have another ewe who has always been much smaller than the others and her fleece is not good (I bought them for my spinning) and she has always been the most standoffish of them. So I plan to send  the two girls together.
Life is like a bowl of cherries, mostly yummy but some dodgy bits

Or you could apply to the council to have her buried on your land as a pet.

is that allowed nowadays?

I am so sorry to hear that. I had a pet sheep which I reared from birth, sadly her first lambing was a disaster, she prolapsed before she gave birth and she didn't make it, so I know how you feel. :'(
