Ferrets wanted
« on: September 30, 2009, 08:17:55 pm »
Hi,

I'm looking for to young hob ferrets for pets/workers they would be coming to a well looked after home and to people who have kept ferrets in the past.

I am looking for 1 dark pole cat and 1 sandy pole cat but to be honest if there well handled i'm not going to turn them down!

Does anyone have any or have any litter due soon?

Thanks

Have you looked at the sspca web. I'm sure I spotted ferrets.
Might be worth a look!

Thanks for that! But I'm in Nottingham and isn't that the Scottish RSPCA?

No, its the SSPCA, completely seperate from the RSPCA. And whats more, the money the RSPCA brings in, none of it touches Scotland! I do actually know someone who has two ferrets for sale, but they are also in Scotland.

Billy,
I had a wee look on the rspca website - they've got loads of ferrets !
Young ones, old ones, dark ones (more like polecats) and your standard fluffy beige ones - lots in Notts/Derby and also Birmingham area, check it out if you've not already

OMG ! I've just been scrolling through and they've got pigs for rehoming - PIGS ! it's on the page with numbers 71-80, they're in pottersbar, herefordshire, I'm not certain of the breed looks like large whites or similar, fairly pricked ears - Boris & Doris (LOL) but they're looking for homes ! Hands up now and form an orderly queue !
They've also got lots of chooks and even geese - might be time to stock up  ;)

Hmmm, not sure about this.  If pigs are up for grabs would people not take them then send them off to slaughter for a few free meals.  Same with chooks maybe?   Should the RSPCA be trying to re-home farm animals?  Domestic ones and working ones are fine but I have reservations about the edible ones.
