6:30am (or shortly after dawn, whichever is later. their breakfast), lunchtime, 6pm (their dinner), and just before the sun goes down.  If one looks as though it will go that day (or night), or if I know when one is due, then i'd probably have a 10am, 2pm and 10pm check too.  I lamb outdoors, and the lambing field is right next to the house luckily. Definitely no getting up in the night, for my own sanity if nothing else.
