Some of the questions that punters ask about the pork we sell at our local market.
Is it local and/or are the pigs your own?     Obvious answer really and we're less than four miles from the market so I like to think it's local.
Is it organic?     No, but we keep the use of animal medicines to an absolute minimum and we don't spread chemicals on the land either.
Some ask about the breed. Usually people who have kept or do keep pigs themselves.
Are the pigs kept outside? Yes, all year round including when the sows are farrowing.
OK, cool, can I have a dozen pork and apple sausages and a pack of back bacon?     Yes madam, you certainly can!
