Calling SCOTTISH RYELAND BREEDERS
« on: February 16, 2014, 07:10:56 pm »

 Here's a date for your diaries.  -  Sunday 18th May '14
Following the interest shown in the prospect of a Scottish Ryeland Group, a meeting has been arranged, where all Scottish Ryeland / C.R. breeders are invited to attend.Janice Milne has kindly agreed to host the event, at KEIRHEAD COTTAGE,THORNHILL,STIRLING FK8 3QL.  Please turn up for 11 a.m. and bring something for a 'bring-and-share' lunch. (Savories only)
There'll be a report from the Society AGM at Redmarley and discussion about the aims of the group. A committee will need to be formed (No, don't run!...) and a simple constitution drawn up.
Then there's arrangements for Scottish events, such as Scotsheep,a Scottish Ryeland Show, and Scottish Points Championship.
We're currently looking into the cost of producing an SRG calendar, so start thinking about suitable photos!
To add interest, there'll be a talk/demonstration after lunch. - Subject still to be arranged.
All listed breeders will be contacted, but spread the word to any who may be interested. Please register any interest with me, and look out for more news!
