Hi All, meant to post this last week - doh!!

http://food.linlithgowclimatechallenge.org.uk/?p=573

Harvest Feast

Only a few days left to buy your tickets !!  There are still some tickets available at the two bookshops, Epulum and via LCC, but numbers are limited - please make sure you buy them in advance as we can’t cater for you if we don’t know you’re coming!

Harvest Feast - Small logo

Venue : Bonnytoun Farm, Linlithgow

Date : 19th September

Time : 3:30 til 7pm (with food aimed for around 4.30/5pm)

Cost : Adults £5, Children £3, under threes go free.

Food : There will be plenty of yummy dishes made from local food – if you ‘grow your own’ we’d be delighted to  include some of your produce in the meal – see the back of your tickets for instructions of what to do.  There will also be spit-roast lamb (from Bonnytoun farm) and venison hotpot (from Beecraigs), as well as a hot vegetarian option.

Entertainment : There will be outdoor games to tire out those with too much energy, and live music in the barn to get your toes tapping.

Transport : Please walk or cycle if possible, it’s only a short walk from the Springfield end of town – if you have to drive why not offer someone else a lift too?

Dress : Casual and Wellies – it is a farmyard after all !  We will carry on whatever the weather throws at us (food & music are in a barn).

Toilets : portaloos will be available, including disabled access

Pets : None allowed.

Safety : This is a working farm, and all children and adults must stay within the designated area. We don’t want anyone getting hurt, or bitten by the animals.

Hidden Catch : These climate and slow food people must be up to something!  Nope – we just want you to relax on a sunny Saturday afternoon (sunshine on order) in pleasant company with great local food, fab music, good surroundings and to get a chance to disconnect from the TV / Gamestation / supermarket trolley / Cooker / Lawnmower / for once.

Thanks to : …. There’s going to be a massive list here. Watch this space.
