Greeting from Clacks
« on: February 07, 2014, 02:17:18 pm »
Hi everyone,

Just popping on to say hello!

My name is Mhairi and I am addicted to sheep!  :sheep: I am based between Clackmannan and Dollar.

I have just registered a business breeding Blackies & breaking/producing ride & drive Clydesdales. We also have texels, blue faced Leicesters (TRADITIONAL!!), an Exmoor pony and a highland pony along with our 4 collies. Its fair to say I am a native breed fan.

Day job is Regional Manager for a grass seed breeder. I cover all of Scotland.

I am very keen  about native breeds as I have mentioned and also about making production simple, Looking at alternative species of forage, clover based systems, LIME and soil compaction issues! I look forward to learning from all the producers here!

Great to know of another local fencing contractor!

We're in a process of upgrading a lot of the land so may need your services at some point!

Hello and welcome :)  Clydesdales are my favourite breed  :horse: ever since i saw them being trekked from Scotland to England years ago.  I've just got my application form to go and volunteer with the RDA, so well excited.  :)
