What size ?
« on: March 30, 2008, 05:27:07 pm »
Hello everyone ,I hope to get Two/Three weaners in a couple of months to grow on, to go into the freezer. And was wondering what size area to fence off for them. They will be going into the pony paddock with the pony.It can get a little wet ,so it would be good to be able to split it into two.
Many thanks
Jackie

We have two pens about 40ft x 30 ft for two or three weaners. They are pretty wrecked by October but recover for the next ones in March.

Don't know how they will do with pony - horses tend to hate pigs, for some reason.

Thank you Rosemary. If i do a pen 30ft x 100ft divided in two that should be ok then, if i have three?  I think the old pony will enjoy the company, she's quite layed back.
