Thanks for posting that gem .
Prior to the landscapers wrecking everything , my five year old Aldi apples, pears and plumbs were fantastic ,just coming in to their own and giving reasonable amounts of quality .fruit

There always seem to be great offers at Aldi, and there is not one near us.

There's one in Gala. Also Lidl will have (probably the same) fruit trees....

Where are you in the borders mowhaugh? There is one at Galashields, Berwick upon Tweed and Haddinton (East Lothian).
