Another only in Powys could .......

...... this happen.

Following on from Castlefarms thread.

When visiting the tiny town of Montgomery a few weeks ago we were surprised to see 2 Rex rabbits sitting in one of those big pots that trees are grown in. There are I think about 11 of these trees around the town and around each tree is a bed of clover. A gentleman was standing near the bunnies with a pet carrier so we went over for a chat and asked what exactly he was doing.

He used the bunnies to keep the clover short. It took 2 days for the bunnies to graze down the clover before moving on to the next tree and starting the process again.  .......     It saved him, he said, having to cut the clover.  ;D He was there the other evening in the dark outside the Spar with the said grazing bunnies.

Rural life .... hey ho   ;D just love it.

Ahhhh .... Love their bread, too.

And Bunners ..... everyone should visit. My neighbour said they found something out for him the other day still marked in shillings!!!!!!!

Have you been in the tea room with the resident parrot?

Bunners is fatal for me. You go in there for one thing and end up spending hours there and leaving having spent a fortune! Monty has a larger than average quota of eccentrics!

Silly Spangled Appenzellers, Dutch bantams, Lavender Araucanas, a turkey called Alistair, Muscovy ducks and Jimmy the Fell pony. No pig left in the freezer, we ate him all!

No Tiz, the other one, facing the town hall. Think it's called Ivy House .

Huge servings of yummy cake.  ;D

Forden .... you were soooo close to us.

Yes Brijjy .... but that's the best yet.  ;D
