yeh!! this is a question i have being trying to work out....just phoned a butcher, to ask how much he charges for butchered lamb, and he is charging £6 per kilo for whole or half lamb fully butchered. He also said about £55 for a half lamb and £110 for a whole, but that the final price depends on how much the lamb weighs.
So, am I right.....Say a 42kg lamb will kill out dead weight at say 20kg, and when butchered that will be a final meat weight of about 14/15kg...does this sound a good prediction?
Somehow i need to give my friends an advanced pricing.
LOL..I dont think i will be making any money on the lambs at all (BTW profit isn't my main motive)
