Do you think she's a happy girl?

This is Rosie, she is 12 years old and we rescued her 14 months ago. At that time she could hardly walk and was very sad and quite miserable. She brings us so much happiness now as she is so happy and mischievous. I was out amongst them all today and this is her coming to say hello, I had no food in my pocket so she couldn't be bothered jumping the fence to come and see me. She definately has a smile of contentment on her face these days.

Thanks, she is a real special old lady this one. She has improved so much, is stiff at times from athrititis but just keeps going and runs about now like she's a youngster. I don't know how her previous owner could have allowed their neglect to happen.

I just think goats are amazing animals. My 2 Toggenburg boys are now 6 months old and still think that they can sit on my knee. They forget that they are now so big and heavy, but that does not stop them from trying. This is them this afternoon, when I sit on the bench they jump up and then try and jump on my back, eat my hair and ust cause mayhem. They are fantastic wee chaps though.

Yes, our Toggie was two days old when we had her, so we milked Margo in the pen so she didnt fret. She got in the habit of climbing on your back when you were kneeling to milk, and even lying down up there!
We now take Margo out, lil 'un is now 17 weeks and big!!
