Feeding potatoes

Can you feed potatoes, cooked or uncooked to pigs as this seems to create differing opinions according to the forum you look at.

Not raw, and def not if green!
I cook peelings (outside -   DEFRA rules!) and give them to pigs.  Dont over do it, they should be fine with small amounts

potatoes are fine for pigs rule of thumb cooked is far easier to digest for the pig, uncooked is fine but it is slow to digest.
never feed green or chitting potatoes though.

We sometimes cook potatoes for the pigs - on our camping stove in the garage of course!
