Deep breaths! Here goes...

With much sadness I am selling all of my stock - a change of job on the horizon and a move to Oz a very real possibility we have decided to try and sell on our stock as it will not get any easier no matter how long we try and put it off for, so, for sale...

4 Portland Ewes with lambs at foot
4 portland Ewes
1 Portland Ewe lamb from last year
1 Texel x ewe with twins at foot
1 Portland Ram
All Portlands are registered and pedigree
1 Jersey x bull calf 11 months old
1 Shorthorn x bull calf 9 months old
2 GOS breeding sows 3 1/2 years old

Sensible offers only please, good homes more important than price. Located North Dorset just off the A303.

Cheers

All the best with your new job, and new life in Oz, when it happens!!  Its a big step to take, selling up, but hopefully, the nice people on here will buy your livestock - not this one, as she is having to cut down drastically on numbers, sadly ;D

Good luck finding new homes - they sound like a nice bunch, hopefully they'll be an opportunity for someone on here. :fc:

And all the very best of luck in your new ventures  :-*
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
