Greenerlife ,
Thanks for the CGSB cook book info  . I had a quick talk with Alison  and had a look at one of the lesser book by them .  As a result we've ended up buying the 365 soups edition .... all for under £8.00  inc P&P which is a great bargain as the RRP for the book alone is £25.00

I have the little red covered book and I bought my Mum the green covered one, but I did see the whopping big one pre Christmas, and was hoping that Santa would buy it for me.  Sadly, he didn't.   :-[   So I might have to buy it myself!  :excited:

We are big home made soupers in this household as is my mum & sister.  We have competitions to see who can make the best tasting soup.  I just made today the butternut squash and corriander out of the farmers weekly.  Very tasty.  It said serves 4, but we got 6 portions out of it. (3 today and 3 tomorrow).  The calorie count would have been good to know.  We make what we call 'cold busting soup' for if someone we knows has a cold and comes into contact with us, we make garlic and onion..... then don't go out for 24 hours as we'd knock anybody out we came into contact with!  :innocent:
