We inherited an old greenhouse when we moved here. It was a bit dilapidated to start with, a couple of panes were missing and replaced with bits of corrugated plastic. The recent winds have blown quite a few more out, and the bits of plastic have disappeared completely.

One or two bits can be put back in but a few more have broken.

Anyone got any cheap ideas for fixing it?

I would think it would be worth the cost to replace panes with proper glass as the corrugated stuff will always be vulnerable, has to be replaced frequently because the inside fills with algae, and is not cheap itself.  You might well find old panes available from the freebie sites, or allotments etc.
 
Is there any way you can provide your greenhouse with a bit more protection from the wind?  When it's cold and windy is just when you need your greenhouse most to protect plants, so you want it to be reliable in the wind.

It is wedged between the low fence that is the edge of our garden and the potting shed.
It is relatively well shielded from the wind but that side of the house is all open fields so the wind comes right at us.

greenhouse glasss is really cheap you just need to find somewhere local that stocks it...


failing that clear perspex from any diy shed will do the job but it isn't as good as glass...
