Oh well - look on the bright side - this can't be doing BNP's reputation any good and won't be a vote winner  :excited:

He will continue to draw his €91,980 MEP's salary plus a flat-rate subsistence allowance of €298 per day towards accommodation and other expenses when working in Brussels or Strasbourg.

MEPs also receive a Parliamentary Assistance Allowance of €210,480 per year, which no part of goes to Mr Griffin as additional personal income according to his website. MEPs are also provided with a General Expenditure Allowance of €50,424 per year to cover office costs and a Communications Allowance of €43,697.
I'M NOT EARNING ENOUGH TO GO BUST. Should I complain to my MEP?

I can't believe this, I've just seen this link.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/news/nick-griffin-might-be-bankrupt-but-at-least-hes-not-michael-schumacher-says-bnp-head-of-press-simon-darby-9037463.html

This is truly horrific. I know I am more interested than most in F1, but to make this comparison is just the lowest of the low. I was never a Schumacher fan, and even I find it in awful, awful taste.
