Come on, Sandy!  Be sensible - no love in this - it was
'Grrr, get off'
'Grrr Grrr Effing get off'
'Ahem,  what are you licking me there for'
'Hmmm, well maybe I could JUST get to like that'
'oh, well, OK then'
Then 20 minutes for us hanging around in a cold wind till she let him go.

Gestation is 63 days. So 24th December is due date.
Christmas day won't be the same for you this year.  No trips down South, watching her every move, waiting to see if she needs any help, should we phone the vet or not, should we phone Annie or not.
Will givwe you a check list lol ;D ;D ;D

No you won't - that's what Santa is bringing you this year. ;)  A s^*t load of black trouble! ;D ;D ;D ;D  Only joking - you'll waste a lot of time watching them and for the first 2 or 3 weeks they will be no trouble at all.  After that when they're weaned it will be smelly messy pups till they go to their new homes.

I want idealy names from Lord of the Rings, love Hobbit, Pippin, Frodo and Gandolf but the female names are not so good Gladriel Freda and Eowyn are a bit long winded I think although I love ArowenArwen..anyone other ideas???

looked at lot's of Lord of the ring sites already and looked at the Ochils and other places  in Scotland...liked Rhum Iona and Tiree and I liked Kilda, Lommond and Nessie...and I looked at Fairy names, Nania names etc still, I shall see what pops into our heads. When we went to buy out Patterdale we had a list of male names but as soon as we saw him he was Billy!!!

That's fine for their pet names - I kind of do the same.  But for their KC registration it's a bit more difficult.  I like a theme for mine too and until now they have all been Scottish hills and mountains - but how many are there beginning with 'E'  Any suggestions?

Everest!!! not quite what you ment? I suppose I shall take a look at the map, if you put up a post I'm sure you will get loads of names...I may do that, I intend to find a pet name that can also be a kennel name as it should go with the kennel name.....fun choosing though!!
