I don't know about nokia lumia but I've recently attempted to have an iphone unlocked (the online codes wouldn't do it with mine) and they wanted £50!! decided to get a new sim/phone number instead and switch to vodafone as cheaper and got rid of lots of ppi type phone calls  ;)
Most high st mobile phone shacks will be able to advise on prices.

No I have not used that site , pointless having a posh phone here as we get no signal at all, my mobile is kept for when we are out in the car , It is an Aldi Workzone brick , takes two sims on different tariff suppliers and also has  an sd card for storage, camera and torch, totally waterproof and shock-proof, designed to survive building site abuse. I have an old Virgin sim that I put £10 on 3 years ago and still has  £1.70 on it , and a new Tesco sim.
