Tom Tom voice

Bob Dylan has said that he would like to provide the voice for sat nav.

Who would you have as your sat nav voice?

If I had sat nav, I think I'd like Richard Burton.

I had a guy with Tourettes on the tomtom, but had to turn it off, laughing too much nearly caused accidents. My vote goes for Joanna Lumley or John Hurt....Ree

PS> If you use Limewire or Frostwire, there's loads of free ones to be downloaded. Don't get Yoda,by the time he has told you to turn right, you've passed the turning!

They don’t join cliques — more times than not, they stand alone — but they recognize and gravitate towards one another. Only warriors understand other warriors.

My son had Yoda - my grandkids used to laugh at me because I called it Yado every time.  Mine is just plain old Jim - I didn't know there were free ones on Frostwire - all work will now stop while I peruse their list!  See you all later when I have chosen!
By the way, anyone know why my tom-tom sometimes refuses to go off when I press the off button.  I have to leave the battery to run down. Damn pest as I've then to recharge it before Ic an get it to pick up satellites.

I actually don't mind the voice that's on my system to be honest. Do think they are a wonderful invention.

I can't live without mine so i hope tehre's nothing wrong with it.  Mind you I think I've maybe become addicted to it too - I realised half way across to Sarah's one night that I had automatically plugged it in and navigated there.  I'm there at least once a week duh!!! ???

Google it Annie and then you can download. I would advice caution, I had Limewire which I used for downloading music and it completely buggered up my last lap top. The virus it got from Limewire was fatal and I had to replace the laptop  that wasn't even 2 years old.

I have Mr T on mine  but have about 20 extras on them that i got hold of. But i am getting fed up with Him but with the other sat nav we have it just 'Ann' or 'Jane' voice I think but it's not Tom Tom.

(we broke the tom tom one then got a new one but then managed to get free spaire parts for the tom tom one so have two now). But we do travel ALOT !! especially to out of way places that even the postcode finder have probs with lol.

I have a lovely female Southern Irish voice on mine but she does get quite angry with me and she's quite possessive. ;D ;D ;D

I've got frostwire already, James, but I don't know what to search for in there.  I tried tomtom voices and got 3000+ hits, but none were voices.
