Hi there, not to far from Easingwold, got Dexter and Hereford cattle also breeding ewes, one border collie and a peahen. :)

I grew up in North Yorkshire just outside Kilburn, our farm ran up to the forest boundary below the White horse. I now live in sunny Devon, but do miss Yorkshire.

Interested to see that you have Dexters - they are something we might consider in the next year or so once we're a bit more settled in our place! We have absolutely no experience with cattle though so we need plenty of time for learning in advance  ;D

we are over near Skipton so not near you at all!! big place North Yorkshire  ;D

Hi everyone!! Yeah one peahen, would you believe it, turned up mid July and made itself at home, its a beautiful bird!!

Shep - be interested to know what type of dexters he has got .....keep me informed how he gets on.

I'm sheps son. Welcome! I've got a short and a non short each with bull calves at foot, got them eating out of my hand already! Only had them a week!
BIG Ben
We have 80(ish) texels and texel x suffolks, 10 lleyns, 21NE Mules, 2 Dexters with calves, Monty the labrador, Dottie, Bracken and Poppy the collies and 30 assorted hens.
