I've just had a rather frightening experience.
Today, I borrowed an old home made flat bed trailer to collect some 12ft lengths of timber from the local forestry. Its something that I've done many times before without a problem but today was nearly very different.
I was returning home fully laden, travelling down a slight incline when the trailer and my van started to snake wildly all over the road. God knows what the cars behind me thought, I know what I thought! Thank God there wasn't any oncoming traffic. I didn't dare brake, all I could do was to slow down very slowly and thankfully I was able to regain control.

I know that you're advised to accelerate out of this sort of the thing but I didn't have the bottle to do so. Needless to say I completed the rest of my journey home at a snails pace and I wont be repeating my journey. Its not an experience that I want to repeat and I feel extremely lucky to have got through it unscathed.
