Well I use Shearwells and never had a problem in ordering identical replacement tags for bought-in (pedigree) ewes and goats. As far as I know they only need to be red if you don't know the original number.

I didn't think they could do that?The wording/diagram in the front of the movement book is a bit ambiguous, it definitely says replacements for bought in sheep must be red, but doesn't mention whether they can be retagged with the same number they came with, but the diagram suggests they should be your own number.Probably too close to bed timw to be thinking about this.
