Slap Mark not visible
« on: November 28, 2013, 02:37:15 pm »
Hi I am worried about the slap mark. I put plenty of ink on, I am sure I slapped hard enough but the tattoo is not visible ( they are GOS & I slapped a light area)
                    Any advice please?
                                                          Thank You.

I suspect it will be visible on the skin. It's surprising just how clear it looks when they are butchered. If you are still worried I would take the slap marker and ink with you to the abattoir but you probably won't need it.

It's quite usual for the slapmark to disappear from view - don't worry, it will be visible after slaughter, promise!
