It is, there's 12+kg of cat on it and it just doesn't move, if I can get the other one (add another 5.5kg ) out of the bathroom sink I'll see if it's still as stable, the normal sized cat isn't interested in it in the slightest

Where did you get it from?

Oooo I love it, yes, where did you get it made?  I need something to satisfy the kitten's climbing urges in the house in order to save my curtains and wallpaper.  He climbs brick and block walls outside - another characteristic of a Maine Coon apparently.  The scratching post he has now is double length but with his increasing weight he does a good impression of the cat in 'The Goodies' intro whenever he launches at it!

http://tiggatowers.com

(Please do not post prices on the forum, needless to say "if you have to ask - you can't afford it")

Worth every penny however, it's wicker & solid oak

If you end up getting one mention my name, I've got the bigger base with an extra hole for future expansion

(Thinks - now what to do with that tricky third hole  ???)

Just checked out website. I love the outdoor tower but the cats are going to have to 'make do' with the trees.  I may have to put an indoor tower on my Christmas list though and 'Santa' may have to get his own tools at the ready! ;D

Looks great

We had one years ago, while Cassius was alive. It was HIS tower; he used to sit on the top landing is survey his territory. Dan christened the tower Bar a Dur and said he was like Sauron  :)

I know they're expensive but I've been covetting one for ages, it's been on my wish list for a couple of years and now I've got the big cats it's become a "necessity" honest....

Mammyshaz, frodo can come round whenever he likes, the girls just need an hour or so to do their hair and sharpen their nails
