Have you tried your local small ads in the newspaper, and ads in your local agri merchant?  they are usually the best places to find local suppliers.

I think OP is in Devon/Cornwall....isn't Anstruther in Fife?

oops! I thought it was hay bales needed near Cupar, maybe I came back to the wrong post! or it's just an age thing ::)
