The last of this year's lambs met their makers today including Bramble the lamb who always got stuck in the hedge, and Stumpy the lamb who knocked both his horns off

feeling a bit sad now, although it was their time to go before the weather got too nasty, it means I am now lamb-less once again.
I will probably feel a bit better on Thursday when I've got the meat back and my freezer is full, and even better on Friday when I've bought our half pig from the butchers with some of the lamb money. But still, it's a bit sad.
Just got to get Christmas over and done with and then the farm we get our lambs from starts lambing mid January, so not long to wait. In the mean time I'll have to come on here for my sheep fix (and maybe go over to our neighbour who has just bought 5 shetlands)
