we have a situation, the buyers of the house are using mums solicitors, so we had to find another one
..so when they looked up and said to my solicitor, we need all the relevant paperwork for the extension that was built on the house, (this was done before mum bought the house) they said we might have to get an indemnity insurance, if the council come back and say it never had planning ...
my solicitors reply was... well your firm did the last sale on the house, no doubt you already have all the correct paperwork, so if any indemnity insurance is needed, i will take it as your firm of solicitors will pay for it
