Pottery fit for a farm kitchen!
« on: October 31, 2013, 11:27:17 am »
I went to centre parcs a few weeks ago and spent a couple of afternoons in their pottery studio :) I painted a dog bowl for my rosie spaniel, and a sheep and duck jug :) Unfortunately the jug wasn't quite right after it was fired and so I left it at CP and they touched it up and refired it for me, it arrived on my doorstep this morning. Thought you might like to see it being smallholders, it's brightened up my kitchen no end :)

That look fantastic - I'd be very proud if I could make something like that! Well done you! :bouquet:

I think it's going to be my custard jug  :D  can't wait to use it now, think I might have to do a roast tomorrow and have blackberry crumble and custard for dessert   would highly recommend the pottery painting at centre parcs if anyone goes, I did a dog bowl too and they both came out fab. Think the jug was £20 and the dog bowl £13 so not extortionate :)

Wow, it is gorgeous.  Plus I love the idea of a jug especially for custard!
