Hurrah! I didn't fall off
« on: October 21, 2013, 09:05:06 pm »
Due to my daughter buying a young horse I have been persuaded to accompany her out on "Baloo". So after many years keeping my feet firmly on the ground I am riding again and loving it, this is our second week so today we had our first canter, it was a little scary as Baloo is over 17 hands and I am 5Ft 1in on a good day,but I survived, just hope my back stands up to it.
Just keep telling myself that you are never too old !!  :excited:

Well done  !  I think I've lost my nerve :-\ :-[ . My friend puts me to shame - over 80 and still hacking out on retired racehorses :o
