Funny old weather... Grass cutting plus rain damage
« on: October 20, 2013, 08:38:19 pm »
It is that mild that today I've been on the ride on mower for 2 hours to give the grass yet another, what I have called, final cut!

I then head off to my outbuilding which had a nice new roof made out of that correx bitumen material... And who I go inside I see a HUGE sag wit a drip coming through. Anyway, after pushing it up and getting summarily soaked with the rainwater I now how to relay. Big portion of it, and hope the heavy rain won't cave it in again!

Can't wait to see what happens if it gets some snow on it later in the year!  >:(

Might be safer if you are pushing up on sagging roofs, to stand to one side.  :roflanim:

Sounds like there is not enough support, If it sags with water-- then snow will be a huge problem, take it all off and add more timbers at about 2ft spacing before replacing.  :fc:

27 pieces of corrugated sheeting isn't coming off.......  What I will have to do is what I think experts call a retro fit..... I have lots of wood left from when our house roof was replaced and can slot pieces under neath theropod to ensure no sagging. All I will need to replace is the one bit.

Pain in the bum mind you as guess what.... It's chucking it down and is meant to be the same all week.
