Did Carmarthen knit'n'natter group get started?
« on: October 17, 2013, 09:41:01 am »
Just updating on my post and an old post appeared at the bottom of the page regarding the possibility of starting a knit n knatter group in Carmarthen.

Just wondering if it did happen and if so where and when, or if not and people are still interested, I'd be quite happy to host it here at my house (in Alltwalis).

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

Hi Linda   very pleased you're still up for it  :knit:

Just you and me then, or are there others we might be able to rally  :fc:  afraid I don't know anyone to ask, that's why I was so glad to see the original post on here.

Linda there is a small one in the knitting shop in market place at Llandovery. Its a small group because its a small shop  ;D  I don't remember which day it is though.
Do you spin?  I go to a very nice spinning, weaving and dyeing group at Llansadwrn. Not everyone there spins though, some knit, crochet, rug make but spinning is the main aim of the group.
Life is like a bowl of cherries, mostly yummy but some dodgy bits

Hi, thanks for reply.  Used to go there but Julie, shop owner, is stopping until after Christmas and doesn't seem too certain of future.  Hope it all goes ok for her.  Going to start knitting a waistcoat for my daughter and have a sinking feeling that I may run into problems.  Want to finish for this Christmas - maybe wishful thinking!!! Anyway that's why looking for another knit and natter group.
