Hi All, I'm new to the forum. Currently in Shropshire but just sold our house and finally (hopefully) we will be getting our own smallholding!  :fc:

We currently have chickens and horses (and 3 dogs) and looking to keep goats and pigs when we move.

Still on the look out for our perfect house and it's proving to be a nightmare!

Hello and welcome from :raining: Carnoustie

Where are you looking? At least you've nothing to sell, which should put you in a good position

I'm looking anywhere in the UK and Ireland, but looking for 2 properties which is proving to be near impossible. (I've put an add in the marketplace if anyone knows of anything  ;) )

Saw one at the weekend which we thought was 'the one' but got an email to say it's had a cash offer on it, so still looking.

Cash offers can fall through, you know. Our smallholding was under offer when we looked at it, but then the original buyers changed their minds and we were able to buy it really quickly.

Welcome to TAS  . Do let us know how you get on.

Hi and welcome from Sue currently in Worcestershire, but like you looking.  I am also thinking Ireland might be worth investigating as a place to maybe buy, though I definitely dont want land- as that is my reason for moving out really,, plus the size of the house.

Good luck with it all, you will thoroughly enjoy your smallholding adventure wherever you end up  And there will be lots of helpful advice from the folk on the forum here as well

Hi, We are up in the Highlands of bonnie Scotland, and we have a steading with a CL site and land for sale with full planning. We are with RE MAX and we live in Bower, Caithness. The steading has 4 bedrooms, could even be split into two as we do when our girls come home on leave. Email if you are interested, josie.lee@virgin.net
Wish you the best of luck !
