Sweet Potatoes in Chutney?

Hiya

I have a lot of sweet potatoes and wondered if any of you ever put them in chutney or picked them somehow for future use?

I've never even thought about it really, always assumed it wouldn't work - I think I thought about normal tatties and starch etc - but after a quick google there's lots of recipes (mainly indian, spiced chutneys using sweet potatoes)
