we were just talking about  about the price of equipment and how expensive to buy or hire thing were  and the fact that you may only need it once or twice a year  was any one was intressted in taking part in  a swop group in north of Scotland so we could swop equipment , labour ,ideas etc I know a lot of farmers do this on there busy periods and it works well

our village does a machinery ring. have you asked around your towns/villages to see if there is one already?

       yep we have asked around but most around here are farmers and there equipment a bit big for what need plus don't think I could afford the petrol
