Moulting

Hi there,

My khaki campbell ducks are 10 weeks old now. Is it normal for them to start moulting so soon? They've not long had feathers and now they are falling out gradually.
 :-\

Also, they are having a real good go at flying! They stand on the raised lip of the pool, jump and flap prefusely and do actually go up a bit before coming down again. Should I clip their wings or should I not be worried?

They are not actually moulting as such but at ten weeks, their pin feathers will be coming through.

Its just before this time for ease of plucking, that commercial fattening ducks are killed for eating.
