I need to take my 2 saddlebacks to slaughter at end of August & i am struggling to get them there, does anybody know where i can hire or borrow a livestock trailer for the day? I am in Milton Keynes area & the pigs are going to Kilworth.

We got our first pigs a couple of weeks ago and had no problems getting a trailer.  Other smallholders and farmers offered to lend them.  Is this possible for you?  Make contact with other local smallholders, we have found them more than willing to offer advice and help.

Try putting a request in your local feed stores/pet shops/ horse places.
