I'm terrified with my terriers that they will go down into a rabbit warren and get stuck.  It's hard to hear a dog which is underground, even if they do bark  They seem to be programmed to go forwards not back.  It gives me nightmares.
Hopefully Puff will be found alive and well  :fc: :dog: .  Mine have disappeared for a couple of days in the past, and eventually come home exhausted, thirsty and starving, with their coats full of forest debris.  His owners must be frantic.
