Spit roast lamb
« on: September 11, 2013, 08:35:26 am »
Lady from work has asked me to supply her with a lamb for a spit at her wedding all my lambs are gone for this year so I'm gonna look to buy one. My problem is what breed shall I look for? I guess it will need to be a little fatty? Due to long cooking? Mine were never very fatty cause off the commercial in them? Needs to be a fair carcass size

For a spit roast I'd go for an over age hebradean wether tasty and enough fat for it to be safe from burning.
