Land wanted Reigate area, Surrey
« on: September 10, 2013, 12:50:20 pm »
Hello,

I'm looking for some grazing for my small flock of sheep within the Reigate and surrounding areas. Would need water Ideally but electricity is not a must, fenced would be a bonus but I am happy to run electric fencing if needed (I already do)

I don't need anything until next year but if land was to come up I'd be happy to take it on now. I'm looking for long term and happy to have a contract.  I am very responsible, reliable, I am genuine and I have high animal welfare morals.

Willing to pay the going rate and not afraid of getting some land up to its best! Anything considered.

Might be worth if not already done putting notices up in tack shops and on local horsey FB pages as you might get it for free on a seasonal basis as horsey peeps get to learn how it will benefit their paddocks as a rotation.

When do you want it and how much do you need?

I know that what yields the best results for me is ringing people. If its winter tack you want don't neglect your arable men, they may grow you some turnips.

Will put up some notices!

Ideally I am looking for summer grazing for 15 ewes and their lambs. I have enough grass at the moment as I graze a dairy farm but I struggle in the summer. Currently getting numbers of the locals!

Are you still looking for summer grazing for your sheep ?
We might have a possibility of 40 acres at very minimal cost
just north of Buckland, Surrey.
Please email me on schapman@norex.co.uk if it is of interest.
