Hello.
We have rig sheep, 18 months old, with just one testicle which is still up inside his body.
I know that he could still, potentially, breed, but is this highly unlikely, unless it gets very very cold ? Or is it too risky to leave him with the flock? (We don't have alot of room, and the other option is to get rid of him, which looks likely, but I'm covering all my options...)
We only have a few sheep, and it wouldn't be a disaster if the ewe got pregnant, but we have a ewe lamb at 5 months old.
So my next question is, could she get pregnant at this age? ( shes a hebridean/shetland cross and very little) And if she did get pregnant, what would be the impact on her??
Thank you
