Hi everyone
I have a small flock of Soay Sheep. I had to have one put down last week due to fly strike (only one sheep affected forunately) so have been extra vigilent this week and have noticed that a couple of them have coughs. One also has a snotty nose and is spending more time laying down away from the others, than usual. She runs when approached however and I have not been able to catch her for closer inspection. There are also signs that at least one has very loose bowels though all bottoms look clean, so not sure which one(s). All seem to be eating and drinking as usual. We have recently moved them from one field where the grass was dry and sparse to another where the grass is plentiful and quite long. Money is a bit tight at the moment sio I do not want to call out a vet again if it is not necessary but am not sure what to do - Any suggestions?
